King Wu of Zhou used Taigongwang, Duke of Zhou, Zhao Gong Shi, Duke of Shao and others to govern the country, contributing to Zhou’s growing strength. The 1040s BC joined forces with the Yong, Sichuan, Qiang, Wei, Wei, Lu, Peng and Pu clans to wage a battle in the pastureland against the Shang dynasty. The Yin Shang army was defeated, King Shun set himself on fire in Lutai, and Yin Shang perished. The Zhou Dynasty was established, with the capital at Haojing (present-day Xi’an, Shaanxi). King Wu of Zhou exerted great efforts to govern and implemented the feudal, patriarchal and well-field systems, which became an abuse of China’s feudal imperial system.

Due to excessive hard work, Ji Fa fell ill in the second year after the destruction of business. At that time, the world was not yet peaceful, and the ministers of the Zhou family were worried that Ji Fa’s death would bring turmoil. After Ji Fa’s condition improved slightly, it quickly deteriorated again. When he was dying, he still remembered the world that was not yet peaceful. He was worried that his son Ji Song was still young and lacked political experience, so he was not enough to take on the important task of managing the world, so he entrusted all the major issues of auxiliary government to Shu Dan. Soon after his death, his posthumous title was “King Wu”.
