Citation explanation
1. “Wei Shu · Shi Huo Zhi”: “Since the past, the household registration of various states has not been true, which contains hidden leaks and abolishes public and private affairs.”
During the reign of Zhengde, there was a man named Yang Yanhe, who was originally the native place of Chengdu Prefecture, Sichuan Province.”

There is a difference between native place and household registration. Native place refers to the ancestral place or place of origin. The place of domicile is not necessarily the ancestral or native place of the person, especially in economically developed areas and some new places that started construction after the founding of New China and developed rapidly in modern times. A large number of people’s place of domicile is not the place of domicile. These people generally migrated from other places after the reform and opening up or in China’s planned economy era according to the distribution of the country at that time, or immigrated to new places in modern times.
