The hillsides and fields are lush with vegetation, and the water color in the paddy fields is reflected in the sky. The sky is misty and rainy, cuckoos are singing, and the earth is thriving. April is coming, and nobody is idle. After sericulture, we have to plant seedlings again.

This poem with fresh and bright tone, a marvelous description of the south of the countryside in early summer of the beautiful scenery, expressed the poet’s love for rural life. The first two sentences write the natural scene. “Green”, lush trees, “white”, water light reflects the sky. From a visual perspective, the poet depicts bright and beautiful landscape colors. The second sentence not only uses smoke as a metaphor for rain to describe the unique scenery of Meiyu in the south of the Yangtze River, but also uses the sound of birds urging plowing to add infinite vitality. The last two sentences describe the busyness of the farm. In the fourth sentence, the phrase “the silkworm” is used to echo the phrase “the mountains are green” in the first sentence, and the phrase “the fields are full of white” in the first sentence. The fourth line uses the word “sericulture” to echo the first line’s “greenery all over the mountains” and the word “paddy” to echo the first line’s “white all over the river”, and the two imaginary words “only” and “and” are extremely expressive. The two imaginary words “only” and “again” are very expressive, and the meaning of “busy” can be seen without saying “busy”.
